Teachers have identified students who might benefit from additional support over the summer in English Language Arts (ELA) and/or math in order to be set up for success for the 2022-2023 school year. If your student has been identified for this support you will receive an email to register.

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is excited to induct its newest members! The Induction Ceremony is an invitation-only event that will be held on Thursday, May 5th at 1:30 p.m.

Windsor Charter Academy’s Parent & Student Safety Committee hosts a variety of safety webinars throughout the year. On May 3rd, Carolyn Mader, owner of Mending Hearts Counseling, will be presenting “The Threat of Pornography: How to Speak to Your Teens About Porn.”

On May 18th (8th grade only) and May 19th (6th & 7th grades), all students will turn in their school-issued Chromebook and charger after their last final exam. Each Chromebook has a blue and silver inventory tag with an asset number.

We invite our parent community to join us at our MS/HS AVID Showcase to learn more about the program and see AVID in action in our middle and high school classrooms! The AVID Showcase will be held on April 29th and has varying session times.

Students at Windsor Charter Academy will be taking their Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) tests in April! CMAS tests are meaningful and relevant assessments that support rigorous academic standards.

Our Middle School Spring Dance will be on Friday, April 8th from 3:45 to 6:00 p.m. Tickets will be sold in advance and at the door for $5.00 (cash only).

On Thursday, March 17th students are welcome to celebrate St Patrick’s Day by wearing green. Students who wear green may also have a Free Jean Day. High school dress code must be followed.

All middle school students have received their registration forms for the 2022-2023 school year! Forms should be turned into the middle school front office by March 14th.

On February 15th, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. we hosted our Middle & High School Character Education, Social-Emotional, and Mental Health Webinar! The recording is now available.

This year all students will be scheduled into a Multimedia Literacy elective, where they will focus on Core Knowledge content. The culminating event will be a Core Knowledge Showcase, where students will share their projects and celebrate their learning over the quarter!
