The WCA High School Theatre Program is thrilled to present Radium Girls, this year’s much-anticipated fall play!
Written by D.W. Gregory, Radium Girls is set in the 1920s, a time when radium was thought to be a miracle cure, Madame Curie was an international celebrity, and luminous watches were all the rage. That was, however, until the women who painted the watches began to fall ill and one of those women fights for her day in court. Inspired by a true story, Radium Girls radiates with humor, warmth, and the importance of standing up for what is right.
Performances will be held at the elementary school gymnasium. Show times are:
Friday, November 3rd: 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 4th: 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Tickets are $10 per person and will be sold at the door!
