Windsor Charter Academy is excited to offer a variety of summer sports camps to our families! Many of these camps are also open to the public. We are excited to engage our student athletes in sports this summer!

Official Fitness, located at 1111 Diamond Valley Drive., has worked with our athletic director to provide an opportunity for Windsor Charter Academy athletes. If your student participates in our middle or high school athletics program (including incoming middle and high school students for next year), please review the opportunity below.

Soccer Team visited our students! In appreciation for the invitation to come to our school, both teams have offered a discount on merchandise to Windsor Charter Academy families.

Each year, Windsor Charter Academy awards deserving graduating seniors with the Share the Light Firebird Scholarship or the John Bartmann Memorial Scholarship. Let's rise together as a strong Firebird community and honor our seniors who have made a lasting impact on our school!

Windsor Charter Academy's Executive Board Election begins on April 25th! This year, six candidates are running for two Board positions. The term for each position is three years. Parents and/or legal guardians with child(ren) currently enrolled at Windsor Charter Academy are eligible to vote in the election. Each parent/guardian receives a single vote. 

On Tuesday, March 14th On The Border (6015 Sky Pond Dr.) is donating back 20% of dine-in, take-out, and pick-up orders to support a great cause - the Windsor Charter Academy Sophomore Class Field Trip!

Windsor Charter Academy’s National Honor Society, in coordination with UCHealth, is hosting a Blood Drive on Friday, March 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..

The Executive Board Meeting and Candidate Town Hall will be held on March 23rd at 6:00 p.m. in the HS Commons. Verified candidates will present their candidate speech. All speeches will be recorded and sent to our parent community.

Our HS Varsity Boys’ Basketball Team are now in the Elite 8! They have advanced to the state tournament and will play at the University of Denver this Thursday through Saturday. Click here for more information on our current bracket and game times.

Windsor Charter Academy’s National Honor Society is seeking donations for Soles4Souls! Students are collecting shoes that are in good or gently-worn condition.

Windsor Charter Academy's very own Mrs. Shirley Davis was named February Teacher of the Month! Congratulations, Mrs. Davis, on this well-deserved recognition. We are grateful to have you at our school!

Windsor Charter Academy students will take their Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) tests in April! CMAS tests are meaningful and relevant assessments that support rigorous academic standards. The state’s summative tests measure students’ mastery of grade-level standards and growth over time. 

Our high school National Honor Society is hosting Parents’ Night Out on Friday, February 24th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Our students are accepting donations to Denver Street School at this event!

We are excited to announce that spring registration is open for middle and high school athletics! Fifth grade, middle, and high school students can register for a variety of spring sports.

Are you a builder, grant writer, or landscape designer? Do you love working in a garden, planting, weeding, or harvesting crops? Windsor Charter Academy's Garden Committee is holding its first meeting of 2023 on February 10th at 3:30 p.m. in the elementary school library.

Are you looking for ways to build a stronger relationship with your child? At Forward Together, parents can explore topics and find resources to support positive connections and raise happy children!

Is your student an avid gamer? Our Esports Club is hosting two gaming nights for all K-12 students! The events will be held on February 16th and March 16th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the middle/high school building.

Did you know that Mr. Hill, our middle school PE teacher, is a Senior Cup Stacking Champion? Mr. Hill has shared his knowledge of and enthusiasm for cup stacking, which challenges students’ coordination and mental focus.

The Junior Class will be making delicious homemade truffles (with help from a professional chocolatier) and selling them as a fundraiser for Valentine’s Day! The Junior Class is raising money for class trips, events, dances, and spirit items. Gourmet truffles will be sold in boxes of a dozen for $20 each.
