The Technology Department is selling two FUYL Tower 15 Charging Lockers. The FUYL Tower 15 is an Intelligent Asset Management System that charges, stores, secures and manages assets for most mobile devices in 15 individually lockable compartments.

Our Student Council is planning another Spirit Week to celebrate the week before Thanksgiving! Students who choose not to participate in the Spirit Week should come to school in dress code.

Our Student Council is hosting a food drive from November 16th through November 19th. Each grade level will compete with each other to see who donates the most items.

We are excited to announce that Windsor Charter Academy has been approved to be an official SAT testing center! If your student is scheduled to take the SAT on December 5th, they may be able to change their testing site to WCA.

On Friday, November 20th, Student Council will be hosting a pie eating contest. Students can pay $5 to enter for the chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card.

Our students have been celebrating College Week! During their classes this week, they explore different career opportunities related to the different classes they are taking. We encourage you to talk with your students about what careers they learned about this week!

Parents with students enrolled in an Aims Community College course may receive a bill in the mail this week. This bill is for your student's administration fees and online fees. Parents are only responsible for the account balance.

This year, Windsor Charter Academy Schools will handle snow days differently than other Weld RE-4 schools. In the event a snow day is called, all elementary, middle, and high school staff and students will have a traditional snow day.

Join us for Online Scholastic Book Fair! Our Book Fair is open from November 8th until November 21st. Parents can find a book suited to any student in grade levels K-12.

On Monday, November 16th, Windsor Charter Academy will begin to enroll new incoming siblings of current students for the 2021-2022 school year. To be offered a spot for a sibling, our Registrar’s Office must have a Letter of Intent submitted for your incoming child.

The band room has been relatively quiet this fall, but with the help of our high school administrative team and extensive consultation with our school’s Registered Nurse, Sara Ibarra, that may be able to change very soon!

Windsor Charter Academy has an active chapter of National Honor Society! Each month, NHS students plan to share a few highlights of the activities they participate in. We are proud of our NHS students for their commitment to their chapter and for volunteering in our community!

On Thursday, October 29th, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., My Colorado Journey is hosting a virtual family workshop to help navigate college financial aid. This webinar is free!

The Halloween Committee of Windsor Charter Academy’s National Honor Society (NHS) is planning several events for the upcoming holiday. On October 30th, high school students will celebrate with an in-school costume contest.

Windsor Charter Academy is excited to offer open practice sessions for our high school girls’ soccer team! Coach Drips will be hosting open practices at the high school soccer field. Practices will occur on Mondays and Fridays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., between November 2nd through December 18th.

Last week, parents of 9th, 10th, and 11th graders should have received an email about the expectations for PREPWORKS. We would like for all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students to work 90 minutes a week to prepare for the PSAT and SAT.
