Ms. Seneca's Counselor Corner: Coping with Stress
Coping with stress in healthy ways is a topic that Ms. Seneca, our high school counselor, talks to students about on a daily basis. For parents, it can be challenging to determine if problematic behavior is a normal stage of adolescent development or if it is part of a more a serious mental health concern such as depression or anxiety.

Honor Roll
High school students receive academic recognition each semester based on the following criteria:
3.60 - 3.79 GPA = Honor Roll
3.80 – 3.94 GPA = High Honor Roll
3.95 – 4.00+ GPA = Dean’s List
Parents of students who are recognized for their academic achievement will receive an email with a certificate attached by January 22nd.

Concurrent Enrollment Update
Our Executive Board recently approved a revision to our policy on the number of high school credits students can earn in concurrent enrollment courses. After researching other schools and districts on their approach, we found there is no standard method to how schools award high school credit for concurrent courses. We also found that many schools award more high school credit than our policy allowed.
