The WCA Safety Committee is hosting a Mental Health and Sources of Strength Parent Lunch-and-Learn on Thursday, March 19th from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 pm. in the high school STEM Lab. This event is part of our Safety Committee’s monthly parent information seminar series, focusing on a variety of safety topics.
PSAT and SAT Prep
Our 9th - 11th grade students are working hard to prepare for the PSAT and SAT tests in April. Our 10th and 11th grade students have linked their previous test scores in College Board to Khan Academy and have set individualized practice goals based upon their needs. Our 9th graders have taken several assessments to see where they need to focus their studying efforts.

Our team also has a good chance of qualifying to represent Colorado at the VEX Robotics World Championship. Our students are looking for your support to help them achieve their goal of competing on the national and international stage!

Associate of Science Degree Program Offered in Fall 2020
We are excited to announce that our students will be able to earn an Associate in Science degree at the start of the 2020-2021 school year. This means all of our high school students have the opportunity to graduate with either an Associate of Arts degree or an Associate of Science degree from Aims Community College, free of charge. Our early college opportunity means families can save nearly $60,000 in college tuition, per student!

The Clearview Library District and the Clearview Library District Friends and Foundation is hosting New York Times bestselling author William Kamkwamba on Saturday, February 22nd. Prior to the event, guests are invited to attend an Innovation Fair in the WHS cafeteria. Windsor Charter Academy will have a booth at the fair and Mrs. Shaler will be showcasing our students’ STEM projects!

VEX Robotics Tournament
Our HS VEX Robotics team were awarded two tournament championship trophies over the last two weeks! At the Colorado Early College Fort Collins VEX Robotics tournament, our teams “Phynix” and “Only Temporary” both made it to the finals. Our third team “Controlled Chaos” was knocked out by Only Temporary in the semi-finals by 11 points.
