Windsor Charter Academy’s High School National Honor Society is collecting donations for their annual donation drive to Denver Street School! The Windsor Charter Academy Counseling Department is seeing an increase in student mental health concerns and hospitalizations across the K-12 grade levels. Knowing when and where to seek help for a mental health concern is important for both parents and students.

Windsor Charter Academy is seeking candidates to fill two positions on our Executive Board! The Election Committee is now accepting applications from potential candidates. Executive Board Members serve as unpaid volunteers but contribute significantly to the leadership and strategic direction of our schools. The term for each position is three years.

The third year of the WCA Summer Internship Program is in full swing! We have nearly 130 sophomores and juniors interested in interning with a local business or organization this summer. We have students interested in all career fields.

Students at Windsor Charter Academy will be taking their Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) tests in April! CMAS tests are meaningful and relevant assessments that support rigorous academic standards.

Windsor Charter Academy will be holding elections for the Executive Board this spring! Committee members will be responsible for helping to coordinate the election process, ensuring board candidates complete their applications, and volunteering on the day of the election.

Windsor Charter Academy’s health and administrative teams monitor our schools’ COVID-19 data on a daily basis. Since the start of the pandemic we have been committed to making mitigation decisions based on COVID-19 data in our schools.

Beginning on Monday, January 31st, only students who are present in the building will be marked present. Students at home for any reason will be marked absent.

We are in the process of enrolling our students for the 2022-2023 school year! We need each parent to fill out their child's enrollment information online. We ask all families to complete the WCA Returning Student Survey by Monday, January 17th.

On October 27, the State of Colorado launched I Matter, a program that provides up to three free counseling sessions for all Colorado youth.
