WCA’s High School National Honor Society is excited to host Parents’ Night Out on Friday, December 8th! Parents will have an opportunity to drop their students off for a night of games and fun while parents can sneak in some holiday shopping.

Join us on December 7th from 8:15 to 9:00 a.m. for Coffee with the Counselors! The event will be held in the elementary school cafeteria, but the counselors from all three schools will be in attendance.

Windsor Charter Academy students are active in sports, clubs, and other extracurricular activities! We are seeking paid volunteers to serve as drivers for our 14-passenger vans to transport our students to a variety of activities and small-group field trips.

We wanted to let our families know that the Linq Connect school meal phone app is still not working properly. We have been in regular contact with Linq's technical support team and they are investigating the issue.

We appreciate how often our families serve in or donate to our schools! To celebrate all of our volunteers and donors, it is important to log your service hours and donations. However you choose to serve, we want to make sure that you are recognized!
 

Windsor Charter Academy’s Executive Board of Directors, and Dr. Teeples, Executive Director of Schools, invite you to join them at Coffee House 29! Families are invited to grab a cup of coffee and pull up a chair to learn more about our school an ask questions of our leaders.

Based on the results of the 2024-25 Calendar Survey sent to our families, the Executive Board approved calendar option number one. This option has school starting on August 14th (K, 6, 9) and the 15th for all remaining students.

At Windsor Charter Academy, we have a culture of serving our schools and our community. Several of our student clubs have organized donation events to support programs in our community. If you are in a place to give this holiday season, please consider donating to one of these important causes!

Due to popular demand, we have ordered more Firebird Pride sweatshirts! Sweatshirts are now available in all sizes, including children’s sizes. Children’s sweatshirts are grey, and adult sweatshirts are green.

On Monday, November 13th we will begin enrolling students for the 2024-2025 school year. New incoming siblings of current WCA students will be the first to be enrolled. Enrollment will occur for all grade levels.

With the close of the first quarter last week, elementary and middle school families are able to see final grades reflected in Infinite Campus. At the end of the semester, high school students will see their final grades

Windsor Charter Academy has been offered the opportunity to run the Community Corn Maze again this year! The maze will be open on Friday, October 27th and Saturday, October 28th. All funds collected will go directly to the Windsor Charter Academy High School Theatre Program.

Windsor Charter Academy’s Booster Club is hosting its second annual Mother/Son and Daddy/Daughter Dances! The theme for both dances is Denim & Diamonds. All students are invited to bring their mother, father, or other special adult in their life!

Did you know that October is National Farm-to-School Month? Windsor Charter Academy is quickly being recognized as having a premier farm-to-school program!

October 9th through 13th is College Week! Students are encouraged to wear college gear all week, but need to wear dress code bottoms.

The holidays are quickly approaching! While this can be a very exciting time of year, it can also bring a lot of financial stress. If your family is interested in receiving assistance with meals and/or gifts, simply fill out our Holiday Assistance Form to discreetly provide your information.

The WCA High School Theatre Program is thrilled to present Radium Girls, this year’s much-anticipated fall play! 

Does your student have an upcoming absence? There is a new, convenient way for families to request an absence in Infinite Campus. Beginning Tuesday, October 10th, absences can be requested via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
